Reviews
It was my last day in LA on a work trip. I wasn't going to leave LA without having some crawfish. I went for lunch with a couple coworkers that are locals. I wanted to try a little bit of everything so I got the Crawfish platter grilled instead of fried. The étouffée and the grilled tails were the two best items. The grilled tails are blackened, had great flavor and were cooked perfectly. Corn machoux was something that a lot of restaurants in the area had. This was probably one of the better machoux I had. The cornbread was all right; not too much spice. The crawfish pie is a mini pie. It seemed like it was the étouffée in a pie crust instead of over rice. Not bad but the etouffee was better. The boulette is kind of like a crawfish cake. It was a little on the dry side. It was a good amount of food. I only needed a snack for dinner because I was still full. I don't think I'll make it a point to go back but if I'm already in the area I would go back.
Was traveling back from Louisiana to Texas and stopped here. It's right off the freeway! Super convenient. Crawfish was sooo good. Shrimp and crab legs too. We got seated quickly and the food was hot and fresh. Smaller dining space but a good amount of tables. Customer service was fair.
When that platter of crawfish came out, we were excited and amazed. So much food! But we dug right in and didn't stop till it was done. Loved every bite! Small authentic place, great service, I want to go again right now! Worth a visit, definitely.
Small dive for pretty good crawfish. They have an extensive menu, but I only come here for boiled crawfish. The crawfish were very nice size and had just the right amount of seasoning.
I've been eating here for years, everything is A-OK. This is real Cajun food, some items are "spicy". Rick
